Each year we are offer a limited number of discounted tickets for people who are unable to afford the full ticket price and who are willing to put in 8 hours of community service at the Festival. These cost R400.
This would mean joining one of the following teams for daily shifts:
1. gate duty
2. night security patrols, fire safety checking, keeping the donkey boiler going for hot showers
3. wood collection for the fire places
4. life guarding at the river. keeping an eye on kids in the water
5. help with recycling and waste management

Everyone in the village is expected to:
- take good care of the forest, leaving no trace of having been there
- remove anything dangerous in the walkways like an occasional rock or a stump
- take care of their own recycling, separate it, wash the plastic, drop it off in the separate recycling bins
- remind anyone who may drop butts or anything else on the floor to pick it up and find an ecobrick
- all dog owners to bury any doggiedo they see whether its their dog or not
- ensure dogs are not barking to much or being a nuisance/stealing food etc
- keep noise levels down in the camping areas when people are trying to sleep
- ensure your children are aware of all of the above too
