HOW TO PARTICIPATE
This is a participatory festival .You can offer to share knowledge, a skill, a performance, or sell something at the pop-up market.
We are especially looking for those who can share off-grid / homesteading and self-sufficiency skills. All those life skills our grandparents knew that have been lost…
People presenting the talks can offer them for free or barter or use the Talent Exchange, keeping all charges as low as possible so everyone can experience as much as possible.
HERE ARE SOME IDEAS…
Do you know about bee-keeping, preserving food, composting, compost toilets, aquaponics, natural cleaning products, bio-filtration, bicycle maintenance, re-cycling and up-cycling, sewing, homebirthing, food as medicine, medicinal plants , etc?
Basketry, pottery, foraging, knife making, blacksmithing, archery, fire making, bow and arrow making, weaving, cordage, shelters out of natural materials, axe handling, dowsing, carving, ground kilns, etc
Promote a cause, a talk on activism, conspiracies, common law, micro-nations, freeman movement, alternative economies, cryptocurrencies, homeschooling, minimalist living, agorism, counter-ecomonies, entheogens.
Talks on soil rejuvenation, worm farming, urban gardens, vertical gardens, food forests, companion planting, composting, permaculture design and principles. We also have a veggie garden a little way away that can be used as workshop space for food rowing workshops.
Talks or demos on cob building, sand bag or earthship ideas, wood houses, ecobrick building, bush shelters, how to build a greenhouse, an off-grid cooling system, a rocket stove, rainwater collectors.
Share your skills about community building, basic human interaction, conflict resolution, how to make eco-villages sustainable and profitable, how to set up co-ops.
Natural energy: Pedal power, solar power, wind turbine, water turbine, clay pot cooler, hessian fridge, gas cooker, sun cooker, hot boxes, hydro-power, etc.
Martial arts, yoga, poi, pilates, conscious dance, stretching, hula hooping, juggling, etc.
story telling, creative play, educational fun for ages 3 – 9. A nurturing and creative space where children can come to express themselves and explore their inner colours, through a wide variety of activities. W

You can always participate by finding something useful to trade at the daily pop up market.
